Jerry Reid devoted his life to uplifting Coatesville.
As a local car dealer, he built a business founded on fairness, respect, and trust and he used his success to give back quietly, consistently, and with unwavering humility. His generosity reached every corner of the community, supporting projects from the stadium to team banquets, and his steady presence was a constant source of encouragement for players, families, and neighbors.
For Jerry, generosity was never just about giving money it was about giving himself. He showed up for fundraisers, cheered from the stands, mentored young people, and treated everyone with dignity. People admired him not only for his generosity, but for his character his honesty, kindness, and commitment to always doing what was right.
The Jerry Reid Memorial Spirit Award honors individuals who embody that same spirit those who lead with integrity, compassion, and quiet strength. Presented annually, the award celebrates community members who make Coatesville stronger through their service, humility, and example.
